Nordic Innovation open calls

Nordic Innovation runs thematic calls rather than a standing startup grant. Current calls target secondary critical raw materials value chains (verification of material streams, process testing, pilots) and preparation of Horizon Europe raw materials proposals. Relevant for hardtech companies in materials, recycling and process technology that can form a 3 country Nordic team.

Who can apply

Open to companies in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland and Iceland. Nordic consortia. The critical raw materials call requires at least 3 partners from 3 different Nordic countries, strong industrial participation, access to relevant material streams and at least 10% contribution per partner. The RAMP call supports consortium building for the EU Raw Materials Partnership and is managed by NordForsk.

Amount

Set per call. Nordic Secondary Critical Raw Materials Value Chains: NOK 10 million in total, NOK 2 million to 5 million per project, at least 50% co-funding from participants. RAMP preparatory projects: up to NOK 24.6 million in total for about 24 projects.
