Almi innovation loan and verification grant
Almi's innovation loan finances prototype building, testing and verification before a product reaches the market, with interest set individually and 3 to 5 years repayment. The verification grant pays for external services such as market analysis, novelty search or a simple MVP. Small tickets, but fast and available across Sweden.
Deadlines
Applications are taken continuously. There is no cut-off to plan around; decisions follow the agency's own handling time.
No application deadlines; you apply through Almi's e-service (BankID) after contacting an Almi advisor. Processing is normally 3 to 4 weeks. Loans above SEK 300 000 need at least half of the co-financing as capital.

Who can apply
Open to companies in Sweden. Companies registered in Sweden with up to 249 employees, new or established, with an innovative idea still in development (prototype, testing, verification). Verification grant also open to private individuals with a Swedish personal number who intend to start a company in Sweden.
Amount
Innovation loan: SEK 50 000 to 500 000, typically around SEK 300 000, at most 50% of project costs. Verification grant: up to SEK 100 000 for companies, up to SEK 25 000 for private individuals, normally no co-financing.
