Our mission
We work to strengthen the Nordic region’s competitiveness, climate transition, and resilience by fostering entrepreneurship and leadership in innovative, complex, physical technology companies (hardtech).
How we define hardtech
Hardtech means technologies that are innovative, complex and physical:
- Innovative: A high degree of innovation, though not necessarily deeptech
- Complex: Often combines hardware, software and services
- Physical: Focused on companies developing physical products, not pure software

Nordic Hardtech brings business, technology and entrepreneurship together in one platform. We operate across multiple channels to share knowledge, connect people and accelerate the hardtech ecosystem.

Nordic Hardtech is operated by Luma Media AB, an independent media company. The name "Luma" flirts with Sweden's innovative history. The "Luma lamp" began production in the 1930s in Stockholm.
For 40 years, the brand was used for innovative products such as radios, gramophones, and TV sets. "Luma" testifies to an enlightened ideal where we want to share knowledge. Luma Media AB is funded by private investors.
