Qarlbo
Qarlbo is the Stockholm-based family office of EQT founder Conni Jonsson, active in entertainment, hospitality, financial holdings, property, biodiversity and energy. Its energy arm, Qarlbo Energy, is jointly owned with FAM and invests in green hydrogen infrastructure through its subsidiary Hydri, which builds and operates hydrogen refuelling stations for heavy transport across Sweden.

University of Gothenburg’s venture firm supporting research-based startups in life science, tech, and impact.
EIFO
EIFO (Danmarks Eksport- og Investeringsfond) is Denmark's national promotional bank and official export credit agency, formed by merging the Danish Growth Fund (Vækstfonden), the Export Credit Agency (EKF) and the Danish Green Investment Fund. It is Denmark's largest venture investor, deploying direct equity, loans, guarantees and fund commitments across sectors from deep tech and defence to green transition and life sciences, both by co-investing directly in companies and as an LP in venture funds.

Plug & Play Gothenburg
Plug and Play Gothenburg is the Nordic mobility hub of the global Plug and Play Tech Center network, based at The Yard in Lindholmen Science Park with Volvo Cars as founding partner. It runs corporate innovation and accelerator programs connecting startups with mobility and automotive corporates, but no Gothenburg-specific portfolio company list is publicly documented.
Innovation Norway
Norway's state-owned instrument for grants, loans and guarantees to innovative companies, spanning early oppstartstilskudd startup grants through billion-kroner risk loans for battery gigafactories under the green industrial push. In 2025 it deployed 9.4 billion NOK across grants, loans and guarantees, with rolling applications year round.

Technology group investing in and developing B2B companies in electronics and communication.
Naika Invest
Private equity firm investing in small and mid-sized businesses with long-term growth potential across the Nordics.
Prota Ventures
Prota Ventures is a venture-building and early-stage investment firm headquartered in Chicago, founded in 2016, that invests financial and non-financial capital in technology startups from concept to launch. No Nordic office, partner, or portfolio company has been identified, so its inclusion on a Nordic map is questionable.
Fairpoint Capital
Fairpoint Capital is a Stockholm-based early-stage venture capital firm, spun out of SEB Venture Capital's technology team, that makes minority investments (late seed to Series B) in Nordic B2B technology companies; it closed its second fund at $60M in 2024 and remains backed primarily by SEB.
Axeleo Capital
Early-stage venture capital firm investing in B2B tech startups, mainly in SaaS, enterprise software, and cybersecurity.
Sandwater
Sandwater is an Oslo based venture capital firm investing in early stage companies developing novel solutions in climate, energy and healthcare.
