Vinnova Innovativa startups
Vinnova's standing grant for very young Swedish companies to develop and verify an innovative idea. The amount is small but there is no equity and no co-financing requirement stated. Most Swedish hardtech founders apply here first.

Vinnova calls always have fixed deadlines; late applications are not accepted. Vinnova runs many other calls with hardtech relevance; the full list is on vinnova.se under Apply for funding.

Who can apply
Open to companies in Sweden. Swedish limited companies (aktiebolag) at most 10 years old, at most 10 employees, at most SEK 10 million in net revenue or balance sheet total, no dividend payments. Knowledge based, internationally competitive business idea with a sustainability effect.
Amount
Maximum SEK 500 000 per project in the 2026 call. Earlier step 2 calls gave up to SEK 900 000.
