THE FUNDING MAP / GRANTS AND DEADLINES

Nysnø Climate Investments

Nysnø is the Norwegian state's climate investment company. It takes minority equity stakes in early-stage Norwegian climate technology companies, in the same round and on the same terms as private investors. For hardtech founders it works as public co-investment that adds to a privately led seed or growth round.

Equity NO Nysnø Climate Investments AS, owned by the Norwegian state and managed by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Fisheries

Deadlines

No upcoming deadline is published right now. Check the program page for the next call.

This is equity, so it is dilutive and not a grant or loan. Nysnø does not invest alone: you need private investors in the round, and they must hold at least 51 percent of the company. The pages read show no application form, open call or deadline, so no deadline is listed and the rolling flag is false because rolling intake is not confirmed. Contact the team through the official site. Check the climate impact fit early, since emission reduction is a hard criterion.

Who can apply

Open to companies in Norway. Unlisted companies or funds with operations in or originating from Norway. The business must contribute directly or indirectly to reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Nysnø invests alongside private investors on equal terms (pari passu) and only as a minority shareholder, so private investors must own at least 51 percent.

Amount

No fixed ticket size published on the pages read. Nysnø had NOK 5.5 billion under management entering 2026.
