THE FUNDING MAP / GRANTS AND DEADLINES

Norsk katapult

Norsk katapult funds a national network of industry test centres where hardware and industrial companies get subsidized access to equipment, labs and expertise for testing, simulation and verification. For hardtech teams this closes the gap between a concept and a demonstrable, qualified product without needing to buy the equipment themselves.

Deadlines

Applications are taken continuously. There is no cut-off to plan around; decisions follow the agency's own handling time.

The NOK 100 000 grant covers an individual company's catapult project (equipment access, testing, simulation), it does not fund the centres themselves. Access is arranged through a næringshage, Stiftelsen Teknologiformidling, or directly through one of the catapult centres (Manufacturing Technology, Future Materials, DigiCat, Sustainable Energy, Ocean Innovation). Calls for establishing new catapult centres or nodes are separate and periodic, this entry concerns the ongoing SME support, which is rolling.
