THE FUNDING MAP / GRANTS AND DEADLINES
Enova technology and industry programs
Enova funds late-stage technology development, piloting, first commercial use, and industrialisation of energy and climate solutions across sectors including maritime, industry, hydrogen and biogas. It is a portal to several separate calls, each with its own scope, criteria and deadline, rather than a single program, so hardtech companies need to pick the specific call that fits their project.
Deadlines
Applications are taken continuously. There is no cut-off to plan around; decisions follow the agency's own handling time.
This is an umbrella landing page, not one program. An applicant must go into the portal and pick the active call that matches their sector and technology maturity (TRL), since each call sets its own deadline, support intensity and state-aid basis. Support can be a grant or, for demonstration projects, a conditional loan that converts to forgiveness if the technology fails to perform as expected.

Who can apply
Open to companies in Norway. Norwegian-registered company with a project located in Norway. The technology must not yet be profitable in today's market but must be expected to become commercially viable without support over time.
Amount
Varies by call. Enova's disposable grant funds for 2025 totalled NOK 9.5 billion across all business programmes; the Norwegian government cut Enova's 2026 transfer by NOK 1.9 billion. Per-project amount and support intensity is set individually per call.
Other programs
Never miss a cut-off.
