NATO DIANA
NATO's Defence Innovation Accelerator for the North Atlantic (DIANA) funds dual-use deep tech companies through annual challenge calls. Each company in the core programme receives EUR 100,000 in contractual funding. Selected companies can advance to Mission Track for EUR 300,000 in non-dilutive funding and continued access to NATO test centres. The 2026 cohort has 150 companies from over 3,600 proposals, and 14 of them are Nordic. The 2026 Mission Track includes three Nordic companies: BruhnBruhn Innovation (Sweden), Fieldmade (Norway) and Hefring Marine (Iceland). DIANA runs Nordic accelerator and test sites, including Copenhagen's Niels Bohr Institute and VTT in Otaniemi, Finland.
