New invitations.
Great expectations.
A few invitations landed in our inbox this week. A new defence startup has launched in Stockholm, the Swedish Armed Forces are asking startups for help mapping cyber terrain, and several other doors are opening, from resilience tech meetups to deep tech book launches.
If you build in this space, some of them may be worth walking through.
Defence, dual-use, cyber and space startups are rising across the Nordics. Now parts of the ecosystem are starting to organise around them.
On March 12, Connect Sverige hosts the first Resilience Tech-X Meetup in Stockholm, bringing together founders, investors and ecosystem builders interested in strengthening the funding backbone for resilience tech.
The initiative follows an initial roundtable involving actors such as Linda Krondahl, Jonas Åström, Fredrik Billing and Ólafur Steindórsson, among others.

Their message: fewer panels and breakfasts, more access to the same rooms, capital and standards. Well worth a read.

- Niantic Spatial has partnered with Coco Robotics, operating in Helsinki, to deploy its Visual Positioning System (VPS). The system uses geospatial AI to improve navigation for last-mile delivery robots where GPS often fails. Full story here.
- RISE experts weigh in on whether quantum technology will be a revolution or a slower evolution. The biggest impacts may unfold gradually rather than overnight. Read the full piece → (article in Swedish)
